Okay so I have a i7-3770k with 16gb ram and here is my question. I just upgraded from a gtx 680 to a gtx 980 ti. While I am playing video games such as gta5 on ultra at 60fps I would like to watch twitch streams on a secondary monitor. Would it help for me to have the 680 in the computer aswell as the 980 ti for the second monitor and is that even something I can do? I know I cant run them in SLI but someone suggested I could use the 680 just for my second monitor. So I guess what I am asking is can I and should I and would it help or hurt if I did?
EDIT:: I am not asking if the 980 ti can run it fine on its own I am asking if the using the 680 as well would make it run better. Otherwise it will just sit on a shelf or would running 2 cards actually slow down the computer because it bottlenecks the cpu or something? Which would give me BEST performance

I agree with Vetsku.. i have a Gigabyte gtx 970 G1 overclocked (much less power and performance than a ti) and can run GTA at ultra settings at 1080p at 50-60 FPS while watching a twitch stream.. you should be fine. Adding that graphics card wont help either because you can't run them in SLI i dont think
