Upgraded To Ethernet and its slower than wifi!

http:// <--- Screenshot that might help. So recently I changed from wifi to ethernet, because my wifi adapter broke. I had just reinstalled windows 7, back from windows 10 which I hated. Now my ethernet barely works. I get download speeds of .5 and upload of like 1 when its normally download of 40 and upload of 10. Can anyone help me? I can give you all the information you need. PC specs below.

SPECS:
Motherboard: B85M-G43
Processor: i5 4430
GPU: Sapphire Radeon R9 270x Dual-x 2gb
Power Supply: Corsair CX500

Did you update and reinstall the drivers for your network adapter?

Did you click and check the "Details", "Properties" and "Diagnose" buttons?

Did you try another ethernet cable? Cat 5 or better?

i figured it out. it was the cord
