i would play with battlefield 4, witcher 3, mad max, metal gear solid 5, shadow of mordor, etc..

i guess not so much, on the lowest settings maybe.

so my other question is that should i play with lower resolutions or with low graphics settings?

Hi Friend,
Im afraid you're going to have to use both the lowest graphics settings in addition to lowered resolution to play the titles above.

Have you bought the 7770 already? If so, the best thing would be to start testing!

i have had this card for a year now, but i had a 17" monitor with 1280x1024 resolution. i just ordered a 1080p 24" monitor ( i just got tired of letterboxes, and the small screen ofc), and i knew i wasn't going to max out today's games, but still i'm just too curious if i will have to get a new gpu soon or not(it would be advisable)
are smaller resolutions (1600x900) ugly on a 1080p monitor?

actually, the results are a bit surprising. i only got bf3-4 and mgsV installed,, but they run really well!
bf3- on high setting, 1080p 60fps avg, ofc there are dips, but it is totally playable
bf4- same with bf3, but with auto setting(medium), totally playable
mgsV- 1080p, highish-medium settings, and most of the time 60 or 50+ fps, minimums are low 40s

this shows how well optimised mgsV is
i dont think i will run the witcher 3 well, 30fps on lowest settings as i saw, so R9 280x/380 here i come!
