Computer crashed recently. Went to event viewer and saw an error. Based on the time, i assume this was the cause of the crash. Below is the details and my system specs. Anyone have any idea what happened? If anyone is curious what I was doing, I was watching an episode of the walking dead. However, it can happen when i'm browsing the net or playing a game.

FYI i have the latest video driver.

The NetTcpActivator service depends on the NetTcpPortSharing service which failed to start because of the following error:
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.

They are completely random. I won't have one for a months or two, then i'll have them once a week for three weeks.

Typically it's a complete freeze. There won't be any indication anything is going wrong and all of a sudden everything locks. The last time it happened i was watching The Walking Dead full screen and with 5 min left it froze.

It could be the motherboard, as my suspected culprit. You can either try replacing the motherboard or just live with the occasional crashes. But since the motherboard alone handles a lot of power-related matters (the voltage regulator module) it could be it, since you have one of the highest quality power supplies.

Then again, that is a total educated guess, as in this state it's not quite possible for me to know what's causing the issue.

Is there anything i should do next time it crashes to get more detail? like, find something in event viewer, or what not?

I find this very odd. I suspect the RAM may be the problem. But the windows test said clean..

I once had bad ram in my laptop, 4GB then I bought another 4GB and it said this message to, that my ram was working fine (IT WAS NOT) and that 8GB available but 4GB usage. So I tried to boot with only one ram stick, the one that came with the laptop worked then the one that i bought did not.

Try booting your computer with only 1 stick of ram and each time change the ram. If any of the ram sticks don't allow your computer to boot up then that obviously means there is something wrong with the ram.

because like I said, the windows test said the ram was clean but it was not.
