Hi, everyone.
I recently obtained an i7-4770 and some ram from a friend and decided to test it on my motherboard which had an i5-4670k. I tested his ram and CPU on my z87M-plus and it worked fine, but when I switched back to my original setup, I couldn't get the motherboard to post. I've tried both CPUs and the ram modules that he gave me, but I've had no luck. The standby LED is green, but there is no light from the DRAM LED, so I figured that'd be the problem.

Here's what I've tried:
1. Reseating the CMOS battery - no post
2. Using the CLRTC jumper - no post
3. Doing 1 and 2 - no post
4. Reseating ram modules and trying in A1 and B1 (also A2 and B2 just to try) - no post, mobo turns on and restarts in a few seconds
5. Doing 4, then 3 - no post, but the mobo does not restart after a few seconds like with what happened in 4

I've tried each of those with either of the power supplies and I've checked to make sure the motherboard and CPU power cables are inserted properly.

Anyone have any solutions? Thanks for any support.

Setup:
First CPU: i5-4670k
First RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8 gb (9-9-9-24 at 1.5v)

I tried multiple PSUs with the same results, so I guess the mobo is dead :/

RMA is probably the best option for me, then :/
