Is the 660 Ti good enough to be a dedicated PhysX card or should I just let the 970 handle it as well as the game itself? I have a 650W power supply too, is that enough to handle both cards? Thanks. :)

Yes and yes, although the power supply might be cutting it close. If you already have both cards, it wouldn't hurt to try it out. Borderlands 2 is notorious for choppy gameplay during intense battle scenes with a lot of flying debris, give that a try if you have it.

Lol, dedicated PhysX cards are still a thing? The 970 should be A-OK for handling PhysX on it's own, that really hasn't been an issue since the GTS200/GTX400 series cards. If you have enough processor overhead, you can also set the processor to calculate graphics as well through the Nvidia Control Panel. In addition, you can set physics to be calculated only on the GPU, or switch automatically between the GPU and CPU, depending on the current demands.
