Does anyone know how to fix the SATA contact plates on a hard drive? For me, all the metal contact plates are still intact, while they are bent, but the plug from before took the plastic part off. I just want to know if there is either a DIY solution to this problem, or could someone point me in the direction of a service that could do it?
Thanks.

Eh your best bet is using a very small mount of super glue and glue the plastic part back on. Otherwise you would have to do some soildering and either 1) solider the wires to the contacts and then put some small shrink tube over each one so they don't come in contact with each other or 2) if you have the EXACT same drive that you don't need you can unsolider the connectors from there and on to that one.
