Hello,

I understand this is a common topic but before I pay someone local to diagnose I need some specific advice. Lets keep this short shall we?

New PC built by myself. Using existing PSU (2 years old) and Graphics card (2 years old). My last machine ran fine with both of these components.

During build, grabbed board by northbridge heatsink and broke loose thermal compound. I have removed the heatsink and reapplied thermal compound.

Before OS was even installed I was experiencing random, sudden restarts.
While they are random, I do notice them more when dealing with anything graphically intensive. I used my fan controller thermometer to check the northbridge heatsink temp and I was getting high 50's (celsius). I installed a small fan onto the heatsink which has brought under load temps down to mid 30s.

I have been monitoring all temps and to the best of my knowledge everything checks out. I am at a loss.

My build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/XMmz4D
Running Win10 64

I'm using hwinfo64 but I'm not sure what the best way is to relay that information to you.

Thank you for any help.

Running multiple memory kits is not recommended. It can cause compatibility problems such as being unable to boot or unable to run at rated specifications.

Corsair recommends running at a slower memory clock speed to keep the system going.
