Hello everyone, this is my first post and could really use some help. I am building a new gaming rig and put in a GA-990FXA-UD3 mobo and FX8350 CPU, then plugged in the sata drives. When I try to boot from the SSD that has my OEM Windows 7 PRO it says it can't find a bootable device. When I take the SSD out, it detects the DVD/RW Drive. So in short no matter what I do, it won't detect the SSD. The BIOS is very advanced for me and I get lost in the multitude of categories and options.

An odd side note: I can never get the boot priority list to show more than 1 device.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I did as you recommended but failure. I set the UEFI to Legacy Boot and nothing. There is an option for both UEFI and Legacy. CSM is set to always run and it can only be changed if Windows 8 is selected as the OS. I saw no option for a secure boot other than the selection that allows you to set a password to get into bios. Should I just format the SSD and try and boot from the DVD/RW with the OS Disk?
