Just got my computer built, up and running, installed Corsair Link software, and my H100i GTX is blinking red in the software.

The Cooler Pump is not blinking red, that one is working fine, but the H100i GTX Cooler Fan is blinking/flashing red for some reason, how do I fix this?

Update: When I click the one that flashes red and change the mode from Quiet to Performance on the Fans and Pump, you can HEAR the difference, so it's working, but......why is it still flashing red if it's working?

Just to make sure, did you plug the Corsair Link micro USB up to a USB header on your motherboard? I assume so, if you have some control over the fans by seeing a difference when you change the mode.

I'm also guessing that you saw that PCPartPicker doesn't think the H100i GTX is compatible with your case. I wish it listed why it thinks that. My guess is radiator space but regardless, that wouldn't cause this problem.

I'm finding that many people have had this issue.

Here's one thread where it seems to be a BIOS setting where the fans were either never reading 0 RPMs or were reading 0 RPMs at all times.

In another case, it was caused by the system being plugged into a fan...

In another case, it was caused by the system being plugged into a fan header instead of the CPU_FAN headers.

I'd check to make sure you're connected to your motherboard correctly, first. After that, I'd go down what seems to be a rabbit hole of dealing with BIOS settings for the fans.
