I bought 8 gigabytes of ram from Newegg for my new Computer only half of it works on windows (4) "Specs A10 7850k Overclocked to a permanent 4.2, G.Skill Sniper 1886 8 gigabytes, Rosewill ARC M650 Watt PSU, Gigabyte F2A78M-HD2 MATX, 1TB WD Blue." It's just been kinda frustrating, I tried a moving the one ram stick at a time to different slots still booted up and ran perfectly. I will update with photos of MemTest86 and a Bios mem screen. Any help would be tremendous, Thank You.

Just to clarify, you are running them in alternate (Same-colored) slots, correct?

EDIT: Also, you're using a 64-bit version of windows, right?

Have tried testing them on there own, pc has booted and ran fine. They just don't want to work together I guess.

in that case it could be one of two possibiilities. the ram might now be ully compatible with the motherboard and that a slight possibility or its a bad ram slot on the motherboard. but that is going to be hard to troubleshoot cause you would need another pair of ram modules to diagnose it.

Hmm, Thank you for the help though :D. I reckon I need to upgrade soon anyway. I might head to intel next build.
