Hi all, I broke a pin on my cpu fan jack on the motherboard. The good news is, I can still power the fan off an alternative

Ok but now every time I boot up I feel like I am racing to hit F1 so I don't fry the processor. The actual COI fan doesn't run until the Check for the fan in the original power source. I feel like once it can't find this it just blasts all fans which is very loud. Any way to configure the current setup to run more like normal?

What motherboard? It may have other temp controllable fans?
If not then you can connect it to a manual fan controller.
Or finally, take the pin and the motherboard and ask someone who is handy with a soldering iron to re attach it.
