Please help me decide which GPU to buy.
I originally intend to buy either the GT 730 1GB DDR5 64bit or the R7 240 1GB DDR 128bit but after trying to stretch my budget as much as I could, 2 additional GPU were added to my options, which happens to be PALIT GT740 1GB DDR5 128BIT OC and SAPPHIRE R7 250x 1GB DDR5 128BIT BOOST, I'm sure a lot of you would suggest to stretch my budget a bit more to get something better, but I'm sorry to disappoint you guys, this is as far as my budget would go.
Can you please tell me which 1 should I get, the PALIT GT740 1GB DDR5 128BIT OC or SAPPHIRE R7 250x 1GB DDR5 128BIT BOOST, I have read some benchmarks comparing these two but being just an occasional and below average gamer, I'm not pretty much into these number stuff.
What I'm looking for from the GPU are base on the following criteria.
1. Better temperature management ( I'm from the Philippines, so I prefer GPU that can handle hot climate better)
2. Lesser power consumption
3. Minimal Noise
4. Works well without the need to Overclock
5. Can handle games like Skyrim, Might and Magic 6, Torchlight, Dragon Age Origins, Age of Empires 3, Civilization, Europa Universalis and other possible game that is not too much graphics demanding.
6. Good support for a 1366 x 768 up to 1280 x 1024 monitor. ( I only intend to use 1 monitor though)
7. I'm good with a single GPU, don't have the need for SLI or Crossfire.
Current GPU : Palit GT430
Current PSU : Seasonic S12ii 520W 80+Bronze
Processor : Intel Core i3-4170 3.7Ghz
Mobo : Gigabyte B85M - HD3-A
Memory : Geil Corsa 2x2GB ( 2x4GB Kingston is on the way)
Monitor : Samsung SyncMaster B1930
Will buy the GPU the day after tomorrow, so need your advice as soon as possible. Thank you
