Hi all
Recently got some Kingston 2400 HyperX. My old RAM (1333) was causing some system issues so as part of a larger upgrade I got some of this.
I have read extensively about XMP, RAM timings, my specific board and CPU. However, nothing I do will allow me to boot at either XMP profile (2133 or 2400). I can manually set 2000mhz with 10 10 10 28 Auto 1T...which is the highest my CPU and IMC will let me. This is with 1.62VDRAM and a bump to IMC and VTT.
Have I just hit the IMC limit trying to get 2133 or 2400? Other reviews say my board (z77 d3h) and IB's can manage 2400. My i5 3450 is at 39/39/38/37 across the cores (maxed).
I am happy at 2000mhz as its a 20% increase in benchmarks over the old 1333 - but its frustrating I can't manage more!
Cheers
