I have a MSI 760GM-P21 running 4GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM. I am planning to upgrade my RAM but it'll be foolish to buy a 1333MHZ Ram when both 1866, 1600 are nearly of same price as 1333.
I want to know how much Maximum RAM frequency my motherboard can support?

Solution
You can buy the faster ram, its just that the motherboard will only run them at 1333Mhz. Since all the speeds are about the same price you could buy the faster ram and in the future if you get another board that can use the ram at a faster speed your already set.

Hi, after a quick search I found that the maximum frequency that your motherboard supports is indeed 1333MHz
