Hello,
I have a question about how much an Ethernet cable's quality matters. I use a 50-foot cable between my modem and router that I got really inexpensively off of eBay from China or Korea. It felt light and cheap when I got it a couple of years ago, but it seems to work.
I was just wondering, could it be the possible culprit in occasional drops in Destiny? Or could that be another link in the chain that I can't control? I was wondering if cheap Ethernet cables are susceptible to interference or anything, or if their inner metals are thin or shoddy.
I'm contemplating buying a better quality one from Best Buy to improve my online gaming, but I don't know if it will make any difference, as the one I have seemingly works well most of the time.
Thanks.
