Hello,
I am looking forward to building a new pc as my old one (7 years old) is getting to slow to work with.
I put together a part picker list ( http://pcpartpicker.com/p/xCBwLk ). This includes all the stuff i thought would be good for it. I already have a 970 gpu so i won't need a new one yet. Do you have any suggestions? Budget would be around 1000£ ( the same as the partlist)

Overall build is pretty good but a few suggestions:

You might be able to save a few pennies by switching to an Evo instead of a Pro SSD. Also, rather than getting a bigger SSD you could actually get a second identical one and pair them in RAID 0. The HDD is a good choice.

As a side note I'd like to warn you that Corsair has lately had quality control problems with many, many of their cases (seen a lot of complaints for almost all their newer cases). Not saying you shouldn't buy that case if you like it, just a small warning.

EDIT: Almost forgot, if you want to spend a bit more you could also get a 5.25" bay fan controller and some fans for your case. Recommend JetFlo fans from Coolermaster as they have absurdly good airflow for their...

Looks very nice to me. Maybe the only thing I would keep an eye out for is a larger SSD, but it's by no means required. Sometimes you can find some sales on 240GB SSD's for just over $100 for some good brands.

Thank you for your answer. This is only the basic stuff i want to include. A already thought about adding a 250 gb ssd for my steam library. :D

Btw i saw that you have a h440. How is the cooling, i heard that there are heat issues with it.

Recommend JetFlo fans from Coolermaster as they have absurdly good airflow for their price and they have one of the best (imo) LED lighting systems I've seen (LEDs are in the fan hub instead of the perimeter, resulting in much more uniform lighting). If you mount the radiator as a top exhaust you could put 3 JetFlo fans in the front and 1 in the back to get great airflow.

My cooling is just fine. I have 3 Xigmatek XAF 120mm fans in the front, two Xigmatek XAF 140mm fans on my Kraken X61 exhausting out the top, and another 120mm in the rear.
