Hello there,

Recently I have bought two new Xbox One Controllers with built-in 3.5mm Sound Port. I have tried to connect them to my PC using micro-USB and receiver, everything works fine except Sound Port, there is no any sound from my headphones when I plug it in. Anyone with the same issue like me? Are there any workarounds?

I am using Windows 7 x64 system.

Thanks in advance

could be lack of support on their end (drivers). perhaps look for the newest drivers.

this is for win10, but take a look as there may be an update for win7 as well https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/3qh5uk/no_audio_through_35mm_jack_on_xbox_one_controller/

still problems? use your pc audio outputs not the controllers.

As ssddx said, there is no driver support for audio except on Window 10, at least not until they update the driver on 8.1/7 (which they said should happen soon).

Using the built in port is not recommended though, it has an absolutely horrible amp that even your motherboard can beat with ease. Just connect to the PC using a longer cable and it'll still sound better .
