Hey guys,
Basically I'm having a problem where my computer will turn on for about 5-6 seconds and then turn off - then it will cycle through on and off until I completely shut it off (even if I unplug the PSU it will still try and turn on - I can hear a noise like a click when it does).
All of the fans and lights turn on, but the computer never actually starts (as in, the monitors stay black).

I think it's most likely a CPU problem as the PSU seems fine, I've tried removing the CMOS battery and putting it back in but that hasn't worked.

I'll post my system info later (like in an hour) but I think you can see it on my profile

Thanks guys!

What is your exact PSU that you have? the min for the GTX 480 is 600w 42A. Try taking out your 480 and use the onboard gpu to see if the computer will boot up.

Next option would be to pull your ram and test each one one at a time to see if you have a bad stick.

XFX 850W Pro, I tried taking the GPU out and it still wouldn't boot - I guess the problem might be bad mem sticks, I'll try asap thanks!
