No power connector for a Sapphire Radeon HD7850

I was trying to help a friend install a Sapphire Radeon HD7850 into her PC, but we ran into a problem where there weren't suitable power connectors. It seems to need a 6-pin connector [2x3 layout], and it comes with a cable that maps 2x3 pins to 1x4 pins. But the power supply [HP-D3006A0] only provides very thin connectors with (I think) 15 pins.

Any advice on what to do would be much appreciated; I can post pictures if that would help...

I wouldn't use that power supply with that card. It's a bargain-bin 300W from the looks of the part number. It might not even be able to supply enough juice to keep the GPU happy and stable.

If you still want to try, we can't stop you. But there are SATA power (15 pin) to 4-pin Molex converters.

But again, I don't recommend using adapters to 'make' the right power connector for a GPU. There's likely a very good reason the PSU didn't supply one to begin with.

Thank you both very much. Is there any chance that you could recommend a replacement PSU? I don't think my friend would have any particular requirements, but she wouldn't want to spend more than needed.
