Can someone please tell me if i'm doing something wrong with the hardware i chose?
my old system is:
Q6700 (stock clock)
Asus P5G41C-mlx
8GB DDR3 Ram 1600 (2 4GB sticks)
1TB Seagate 7200RPM HDD
Cheap 500w PSU
ThermalTake V3 Black edition
Gigabyte HD 7850 2GB OC edition
Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 CPU cooler

in my new system i wanna use some parts off the old one like the Case, Ram, Video Card, HDD, Aftermarket CPU Cooler and the CD-DVD Drive
New parts:
Gigabyte GA-H97-HD3
Intel Core i5-4690K Haswell 3.5GHz Tray
Thermaltake TR2 TR-600P 600W
And i found a HD 7870 2GB Sapphire GHz edition for pretty cheap, i'm thinking of crossfiring it with my HD7850 2GB the new Motherboard supports crossfire "Support for 2-Way AMD CrossFire™ technology"

So my new gaming system gonna be:

Gigabyte GA-H97-HD3
Intel Core i5-4690K Haswell 3.5GHz Tray
Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 CPU cooler
Thermaltake TR2 TR-600P 600W
1TB Seagate 7200RPM HDD
8GB DDR3 Ram 1600 (2 4GB sticks)
ThermalTake V3 Black edition
HD7850 and HD7870 Crossfire

Will these parts work together? Thanks.

Solution
That all should work great together - the DDR3 memory and Crossfire setup are both supported. Only concern I see is making sure your 1TB Seagate is SATA as the new motherboard doesn't have a PATA drive connector :) Congrats on your build and good luck!

You are picking up a overclock CPU with a standart (non-overclocking) motherboard. You should go for the Z97 chipest from the LGA1150. Problem is, the Z97 has got onboard USB 3.0 headers which your case does not support. Either change the CPU or the case for compatibility. I can leave a suggestion here:

What do you think?
