You will be alright. The 750 doesn't use that much power either so you will be fine with your weak psu. But if i were you i'd change the psu just because 290W isn't really that good... You can buy a 500W just for 50$ make sure you pick a brand like Corsair

does your dell tower support full height gpu? since you wont be playing a low profile like this one would be better with no extra power need. also packs a a better variety of video inputs. i would still get a better psu though.

That is the exact one I linked in my post above this. That one I need the active converter? Even considering that, it is still a good option price wise, and circumstance wise?

My Dell is a full tower with:
1 full height PCIe x16
3 full height PCIe x1
Will it fit?

I currently have this in it so I assume this 750 TI will fit.

So for that fourth monitor I would only need a cheap passive DP to HDMI adapter?
As I can't find a 750 with 4 ports I think I am stuck with getting a 750 TI.

So I can use this:
http://www.monoprice.com/product?c_id=104&cp_id=10428&cs_id=1042801&p_id=4826&seq=1&format=2
And don't have to use this:
http://www.monoprice.com/product?c_id=104&cp_id=10428&cs_id=1042806&p_id=12781&seq=1&format=2
?

well, for 100% confirmation i need to now all four monitors inputs you will be using. supposedly it is actually an active adapter i would prefer the later at such price anyway.!

I'll be using all HDMI. 3 monitors only have HDMI and VGA inputs. While the fourth only has HDMI. How does that tell you if I'll need an active or passive if you don't mind me asking.
lol, I was actually hoping you would know if that was actually active because the price seems too good to be true. Although I only hear good things about Monoprice. For the sake of the argument lets assume it is not active and the active adapter I would be buying would be a lot more expensive.
I appreciate the help!

for nvidia surroung you would need 3 identical monitors with the 4rth not requiring to be the same. for just extended display monitors (4 separate) just browsing and documents, as you say, you shouldnt have problems. 1080p 60hz wont require active adapters. however i havent ever setup 4 displays with hdmi only. there are many cases of false advertising regarding 'active' adapters! thats why im reluctant recommending any specific. amd here have some tested and recommended active here.

Thank you for all your help! You made it a lot easier for me. I will go for the 750 TI, and probably go the passive route, unless some of the ones in that list are decently priced (don't have time to look at them right now).
