Hi, I have been looking to build a gaming pc for around 1000$ or less. I have made a list of components for around 1000$... Would this make a good gaming pc?

At $1000 you can afford a Skylake i5 and an R9 390. Also a bigger SSD, double the memory, and a better PSU. No rebates in the price.

Well then I'd stick with your original build. That's solid for the price point. but I would opt for a better power supply as the CX600 isn't very good. Do you have any Seasonic, XFX, EVGA (G2, B2, or GS lines) or Antec (HCG or TPC lines) available in your price range?
