I've got some important files on my old windows 7 3 bit system,and a i am the admin i used to change permissions every now and then,but that never stopped me from accessing the drive.But now when in try to log in an error text comes up "access is denied" and i'm unable to change ownership.The ownership tab is stuck at "unable to set new owner" .I've tried a lot of solutions online but nothing seemed to work for me.Also i had installed a stupid app "folder lock" and set it's location to my local disc E. Now i cant uninstall it either,and the windows restore wont give me t0 option to roll back a month or so.I'm flipping out,getting panic attacks coz there were a lot of important files.Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!! Thanks in advance!!!!
