Intel adapters not present?

I have a ASRock Z77 pro3 motherboard and was trying to install "LAN: Intel Gigabit Ethernet Controller driver for Windows 7" onto it but when I do an error comes up at the end and says "Cannot install drivers. No intel(R) Adapters are present in this computer." I've tried downloading some drivers from here (http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/X79%20Extreme4/?cat=Download&os=Win764) but no luck so far.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

it use a realtek driver and check alos if you have the smart connect install for intell http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z77%20Pro3/?cat=Download&os=Win764

NEmpire95 - My specs are: Zotact 750ti, intel core i7-3770k, ASRock Z77 Pro3, 16gb RAM, 850W power supply, 1tb seagate HDD, SATA 120gb SSD. I think that's all, not sure what I'm missing.

scout_03 - I've tried a few of those drivers but none have seemed to work, do you know which one specifically I'm supposed to download? Also what's alos and how do I check it for the smart connect install?

you link us to the wrong board use the link i post for the driver and check the install guide for the smart connect it wil show you how it work .

When i try to install the realtek lan driver it says "realtek network controller not found" at the very end of the process so it was not able to install. any idea on how to get past this?

When i did the all in one download and the auto installation download, both said that "RealTek Ethernet Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled Please Plug the Cable." Before it would say RealTek Network Controller rather than the ethernet controller though, not sure what changed.

yes everything is plugged in, it was working fine before i reinstalled my windows. Not sure what went wrong now.

you stil lhave the motherboard cd reinstall all the driver from it could be the chipset one missing .

I dont have the motherboard CD. I tried going to my local computer store and they dont carry the model of my motherboard anymore either. Would it be possible to use a Z87 or Z97 CD? or is that not possible to work.

Just tried to do the intel drivers and it said "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements to download this software." No clue why it says that.

check if you did not try to load the 64 os driver on a 32 bits or the other way .

I downloaded the 64 bit and my computer is 64 bit too.

open the control panel and uder peripheral check if there is any question mark on a item and made system detect it as new material .
