Hi I have recently made a new computer build and I wanted to know some things about it,
Do you still recieve audio if you do not have a sound card?
Is there a better build you would suggest for $1000 in the idea that I will use this computer for gaming mainly
Is the power supply good or should I get a better one, if so which one?

No, that motherboard has integrated sound so you just plug your speakers/headphones into the ports on the motherboard. That's a really good build (though if you could spare the extra $100 for a 970 you wouldn't regret it), and that power supply can support another 960 for a future performance boost (or 2 970s if you are getting a 970).
