What Is My RAM Clock Speed?

Speccy shows my RAM as 800MHz, but Windows ahows my RAM as 1600 MHz. I am not sure which one is right.

They are both right. The RAM itself is 800MHz but it's accessed in dual channel mode if running a matched pair which is an effective rate of 1600MHz.

Both are right speccy shows actual speed and windows effective speed which is 1600 because of double data rate. (DDR)

Edit has nothing to do with dual channel!

It is a DDR (DOUBLE data rate) - to find effective speed it's true freq (800) x 2 = effective . This is the same if you run a single - dual, tri or quad (channels are a different thing entirely)
