i am a noob at pc gaming. the first computer i owned was half as old as me, and the second was a dual core laptop notebook that i though would be good for games. I have started to learn about the basics and mashed together some info about pc's into this build.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/KxxDP6

i am likely to be playing games like gta 5, fallout 4, bo3 - anything along those lines, HOWEVER i will not be playing any online games, the most my internet can handle is terraria multiplayer and it lags with more that one other person.
I should also note that i will be using my 52 inch tv as a monitor, even if that means windowed mode.
i have a mouse and keyboard already, and i also have a spare copy of window 10.
my budget is about $550 so if you do have any suggestions, please try to keep then within that limit.
P.s. i dont mind if you dump over my build, i would rather not waste my money

Yeah man nice build, but i say you get a FX8320 CPU, it will give you better performance in games. And i say that case is fine.

But your motherboard, you should get a ATX size board not a Micro ATX, cause in a micro you cant fit 2 graphics cards(incase you want to put in another r9 380 after 2 years for double power) So go for a ATX board. Power supply is fine. 2x4gb ram is better cause its easier on the system for putting files in and out :)

yeah man i really suggest you go for a ATX board, and the ram yes its like having 2 mouths where you can feed food a double the rate, So 2 ram sticks means data goes in and out faster. :)

Yes all Cpus come with their own cooler, But if you want you can get other ones. But i suggest you use the one that comes with it since its your first build. You can always change the cooler later.

here are some great games i suggest:

Battlefront
BF4
Project cars

And FSX(flight simulator X) You can fly anywhere in the world, there are addons to make the graphics hectic, and you can make it as real as you want

i looked at both of these on cpuboss, can i ask why you think 8320 is better that 8320E? the only way i see the 8320 being better than 8320E is the non-overclocked speed. everything else, even price is better in the 8320E

Cause it is known to be a good overclocker. I never heard people overclocking the E version, but in the future when you need more power you can just overclock the non E version, and i think the 8320 has the highest overclock record of like 8.2GHZ, but that was with liquid nitrogen. You should get the non E.

Sorry for the sad news, but MSY is famous for having the Cheapest parts, But to compensate they provide crap service.
they expect you to already know what you want when you come in, And sometimes they wont give you a refund, they say we are already selling the parts cheap, so no refund.

And if you do find somewhere cheaper please let me know, as want a cheaper place to buy parts :p
