Hey there, Nikileo.

It's not easy to determine the exact time it's going to take for you to boot to Windows and load all the programs you have on start-up. Even though it's a SATA II drive, the SATA interface is backwards compatible, so you should have no issues using it with a SATA II port on your motherboard. It's definitely going to be a lot faster compared to when you boot from an HDD, but unfortunately as you've already come to the same conclusion - it won't be as fast as with a SATA III port.
SATA II has a limit of 300MB/s and SATA III has a limit of 600MB/s. There wouldn't have been a difference if this was a hard drive as HDDs can't reach the full speed offered by the SATA II interface, but the SSDs have speeds of 400+ MB/s...

There wouldn't have been a difference if this was a hard drive as HDDs can't reach the full speed offered by the SATA II interface, but the SSDs have speeds of 400+ MB/s and thus they will be limited by the older SATA version, but still load much faster. Plus you get to take advantage of their faster access time.

Hope that clears things up a bit. Let me know if you have any questions.
