1.-Will the R9 270X have no issues working with a CX500M? (i'm going to buy the vapor edition)
https://www.pcfactory.cl/foto/16463/6.jpg?t=1396625070
(on the PSU it has 2 connectors, one above the other, and below it says "6+2 PCIe & 4+4 CPU" my guess is to connect it in the one above? the cable i have, it came with the PSU, has 2x 6+2pin connectors out of it)

2.-I'll need to use an adapter, my screen is VGA, i was thinking something like this
https://www.pcfactory.cl/foto/18643/1.jpg?t=1416228906
Now on the page that says "resolution=1080p", Is that the top resolution it will work? or the "only" one?
i have a 768p VGA screen i want to know it if will work.

Thanks in advance

Solution
1. Plenty of power for a R9 270, but CX PSUs has cheap quality capacitors and won't last long when powering a high-end PC,they are fine in your case, but i'd just get a different PSU anyways. PSU tier list is your friend, check my signature. Tier 1,2 PSU are excellent choices, Tier 3 are good but not recommended to be put in High-end gaming machines. (CX,CXM PSUs are tier 4 in the PSU tier list, simply not recommended)

2. Your adaptor will work, adjusting resolution is up to the Monitor,it will do it by itself.

Thanks for your advice, i really appreciate it, i'm aware of PSU tiers, but i live in Chile, to get a tier 2 PSU i'd need to spend 150 dollars.
My rig is in my profile, will it really be put under THAT much load to be worried?

Your RIG is not visible to me. A tier 3 PSU should do, look for Antec VP 500 or 650W,those are Cheaper and better than CX.With CX you might end up looking for another PSU sooner or later, never invest on cheap quality PSUs.

Thank you again, i know the CX was a bad purchase, but only after i bought it (like most CX buyers)
At least i've heard that it's not crappy enough to fry my motherboard away
Hopefully in a few months i'll be able to afford one of those...but at the moment it is out of the question
The card is installed and running smooth just in case you were wondering, it actually came with a VGA to DVI connector
Cheers and good bye
