Ok so im switching from a Gigabyte F2A88X-D3H with an AMD 7700K Cpu to an MSI 970 Motherboard with an AMD FX8350. I dont know weather or not it will delete my games and data so what do i need to do before installing a new MOBO?

Switching motherboard and CPU won't delete your games, personal files etc, basically it shouldn't effect your drives at all. If you experience problems after you have switched motherboard you should remformat your drive and do a clean windows installation (this will remove all games, files etc). Problems after a motherboard switch are usually due to the old motherboards drivers interfearing with the new ones. This might not be a problem but its definetaly something to be aware of.
