I just upgraded my motherboard, processor, and memory. Fresh Windows installation. I noticed that some websites would be very slow to load, often with a page unresponsive error from Chrome. A reinstall of Windows alleviated the problem until I started applying Windows updates when it again reappeared.
It is not a speed issue - speedtest.net confirms that I have the correct speed.
It is not a browser issue - the same thing happens in IE and firefox.
It is not a network/router issue - other Win7 computers in the house do not have this issue.
It has been extremely frustrating and I'm hoping someone out there has some ideas.
