New GPU, should I uninstall drivers?

Hi, everybody, Merry Christmas!

So, I recently got my GTX 960 Galax 2GB, but I'm in doubt how I should proceed before equipping it. Should I do the following:

1. Uninstall Nvidia drivers
2. Put new card
3. Install Nvidia drivers

Is that it? Do you guys recommend me to install the drivers through GPU CD or through any other way? Thank you very much!

The CD contains the driver version written to the CD whenever it was put in the box, so it is likely outdated. Get the latest direct from Nvidia.

However, it likely includes some software that will give you power to tweak the GPU, like fan speeds, overclock, etc.
