After 1 year of usage i think my mobo is now defective.

symptoms - after shutdown, won't turn on. (would only turn on if i reset cmos)
- unable to detect my gpu (im now using igpu)
- can't update date and time

what i already did - changed cmos battery (also tried cmos jumper)
- checked psu (working)
- checked ram (both are working)
- checked gpu (its brand new)

Solution
This really sounds like a motherboard issue, but if i where you i'd check to see if it might be a hardware issue before getting a new board, maybe switch mobo with a friend or switch harddrives and see if the issue persists. Even if this problem doesen't seem like a harddrive issue it could be and its worth to check before investing in a new board.

I've actually had a similar problem with my GA-Z87-D3H but instead of not starting it got stuck in a restart loop every time i started the computer and the only way to fix it was resetting the cmos. Afterwards i switched the board to an MSI i haven't experienced any problems, so it seems like your problem is a failing motherboard. But as i said i'd check the harddrives just to be sure.
