New Mobo / CPU and Ram with Old SSD

Hi Guys,

I have recently gone from Sandy to Skylake (parts should arrive tomorrow :D ) I am replacing mobo/cpu/ram. I have windows 10 on my SSD plus all my games etc.

My question is will I need to wipe my SSD? or can I just install the new stuff and boot and then install correct mobo drivers?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would try the SSD first, you might get lucky and have it boot. When you change a lot of hardware though, it generally doesn't work. Worst case, you'll have to reinstall Windows anyway. Download your drivers beforehand to a USB disk so you will have them. Backup any data to you want to save to an external drive.
