Hi all,
Plz tell me which one to buy :
1. MSI HD 7970 TwinFrozr III OC Boost Edition
2. MSI R9 280x TwinFrozr Gaming OC Edition
Note that the R9 is about 40$ pricier than the 7970..
And as a 2nd question, i wanna know if a Cooler Master GX-450w bronze is sufficient for any of these cards ..

I have a i5-2500k
8gb of ram

Yes the R9 280x is the better choice. Your PSU might be a problem, If you already own that PSU try it, and if you have problems, then you can get a beefier PSU. I reccomend a 550w or 600w psu.

the PSU might not be able to give the card enough power, but as i said, if you see issues, like low fps, or freezing and stuff, just go out and get a better PSU :)
