I'm working on Vm Workstations that require a lot of rams, I'm looking for 64 GB DDR4 Ram. Does it necessary that I use high speed DDR4 or 2133 would do just fine? Is it worth extra money for working with Vm workstations or I won't see a major difference?

Also Is it necessary that I use 4X16GB Ram because a lot of people say that having more sticks will put more pressure on cpu. So do is it a "Must" that I use 4 sticks rather than having 8X8GB sticks? I will be using VM workstation 24/7 running it all day.

+1 I'd go with the higher data rates also, and yes 4x16GB is less stress on the MC (memory controller) and can be ever so slightly better, performance wise.

The Difference between DDR4 2133 and 3000 is barely there the only moment you'll see the difference is if you are rendering a video.

As for the second question the difference is barely there between 4x16 and 8x8 if heat is an issue for you Kingston sells memory fan cool kits.

or VMs, or multi-tasking, or newer games like Fallout 4, or other memory intensive apps :) True you won't see much in most BMs but they are doing a singular task

I think people underestimate the role RAM plays. It's just usually the typical bias that it doesn't really improve FPS in games, only to ignore non-game tasks where RAM can be critical, such as retrieving a small snip of data for the CPU to process, or to do so repetitively, or a large packet of data.
