To really effectively block you must key in a list of ip used by the site. Most routers will not let you put in DNS names. There are some that try to filter URL but do this by trying to inspect the HTTP data as it passes though the router. Since most sites are moving to HTTPS you can not see the URL any more and can only block the main site with a IP filter.

It tends to be a little tricky to get these set up because you must be very careful when you are thinking about source and destination address. You many times want to leave the source address blank and only put in a destination address.

What are you trying to block? Are you hoping that the router is smart enough to block certain types of sites with a filter (family filter or porn filter or similar), or are you trying to block specific sites that you know and that you specifically enter into the router? Why are you trying to block the sites and from whom are you trying to prevent them from loading? If it is for Windows based computers, it could be done via the Hosts file - just set the particular sites to resolve to localhost 127.0.0.1
