I was just browsing the internet and my PC shut down. I opened the case and saw that the CPU led and RAM led was on. I have determined that the PSU is not the problem. I turn the PC on and nothing happens besides the fact that all fans and lights turn on. I can't MemTest. I can't restart. I can't do anything. I have to shut off power to main board from psu to turn it off. CMOS didn't help. I have determined that it is either the CPU or MOBO. I wish I could determine which one it is. Just saying, no I do not have an extra board to test any of the parts on.

The issue could simply be dead/faulty board after all these years though you didn't mention one other thing...did you bread board the entire system and see if the machine works?

Bread board:
one stick of ram(slot closest to CPU socket), boot device(HDD or SSD), motherboard, CPU, GPU and PSU connected outside of chassis on a table top.

Here's a guide to follow through. Please state your full systems specs inclusive of your OS.
