Random Freezes Brand New computer

Hello, i recently just purchased a computer from ibuypower. I received it and was really excited to start playing my games and what not. So i opened it up and plugged everything in, but right away my computer started freezing.. even while i do simple tasks. Like going through my computer files, going through netflix, and now more recently pretty much any website (i.e. WoW login screen on the website). I also have a little bit of lag within the game of WoW, almost like it'll pause for like a split second but then knocks out like 3 attacks really fast. Not sure if you guys could help me with this? or if i'm in the right area for this.
