Here are my specs:
Asus rog Maximus VIII Impact
Ram: F4-3000C14D-16GTZ
Psu: Corsair AR1200i
Liquid Cooled
CPU: i7 6700k 6th gen
So when I first put together this system. It was running fine for 3 straight days. I had it init a volume of 5x 6TB hdd using a areca hardware raid card. I then setup samba, nfs, and afp on latest ubuntu server. The system was running fine for three days, then I did `sudo reboot -h now` after that it did not want to boot back up.
I can get the system to turn on if no ram is installed, but it will display the q code for `no memory installed` i think its 55.
If I reset the ram, reset cmos, it will boot up for > 3 sec, reboot... try to start... I'll go into bios, then a few n seconds later it will simply turn off.
It can't be a overheating issue because the cpu temp right before shutdown are ~28 degrees celsius.
Its not PSU or ram because I've tested with an EVGA psu and Crucial Ballistix Elite DDR4 and I get the same behavior.
How could I troubleshoot this prob? any ideas?
