How to Entirely Wipe My SSD (format?) and Reinstall Windows 10 as a Clean Install?

I recently built a new computer with an SSD and retail-purchased Windows 10. I'm having problems and believe it best to wipe the SSD clean and start again.

That is, the only solution I see is to entirely format my new SSD and reinstall Windows 10. But I'm not sure if I can. In the old days, one would boot from the Windows CD and tell it to format the hard drive before installing Windows. My new Windows 10 comes on a little USB drive, and upon the install I don't recall it asking me if I wanted to format the SSD . . . it just installed. AND I DO NOT WANT TO INSTALL WINDOWS 10 AGAIN UNLESS I FIRST WIPE THE SSD CLEAN BY FORMATTING.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

Thank you.

One of the steps when install will ask where you want to install the OS. It'll list your drives and you can choose to format the drive at that point.

Exactly. If it is on a pen, you can even create partitions, delete them, and do what the hell you want. Unless you missed that part.

I actually installed W10 2-3 times on my HDD by accident before installing on my SSD. Took a bit of time, but I got it running. Try installing, if you fail, google it and try again.
