Driver Problems, not recognizing video card?

Hello,

I'm reformatting an old hard drive to load windows XP to play some old games.

I loaded the OS (XP, I think its 32 bit?). I downloaded drivers for the chipset (ASUS crosshair III) and the network adapter and installed those. I downloaded the drivers for the video card and installed those (AMD Radeon 5850). It doesn't seem to recognize the video card at all.

What am I missing?

I've downloaded that as well. I wasn't quite sure how that was different from the chipset driver I got from asus, but I figured it was worth a shot. It didn't seem to make any difference.

Also, I can't to AMDs "auto detect" driver setup because I can't seem to get my internet working right either. This would probably be so much simpler if I could just find the setup disc from my motherboard, but I've got no idea where it is.
