Intel I5 CPU Overheating?

I recently build my own PC, and the I5-4690k processor which I bought from Intel came already attached to my motherboard with thermal past and cooler already attached. However I'm worried about how hot its getting. The temperatures have maxed at around 71 degrees when playing a game, and I read somewhere that the maximum is around the 70 degree mark. Anyone help?

Hey so I kept playing and stopped coming out of game to check my processor temp, and when I did come off it, my processor had reached a temperature of 78 degrees...

I originally bought one with some thermal paste for when my processor and motherboard came, but they came installed already.. how hard is it to remove the cooler, clean the processor and install a new one?

Stop with the wrong information. Stock coolers are fine for locked processors. Stock coolers are fine if you're not overclocking. Aftermarket coolers are good for overclocking and good for improving case airflow. But to say a stock cooler isn't good is totally false.

You should still use the aftermarket cooler that you bought, it will give you peace of mind when you see the temps not going so high.

Doesnt matter if someone thinks im giving the wrong info. I give my best sugesstions :)
