Hey on Msi Afterburner I'm trying to overclock my GTX 970 as far as I can without adding voltage and seemed like I can get it to +139 without adding any. I was wondering how much voltage I would need to add to get it to +155 ? So +16 more.

You only need to add 1 volt and test.

If that isn't enough add 2 volts and test.

If that isn't enough add 3 volts and test.

If that isn't enough add 4 volts and test.

If that isn't enough add 5 volts and test.

If that isn't enough add 6 volts and test.

If that isn't enough add 7 volts and test.

If that isn't enough add 8 volts and test. .......

There may be a pattern to this approach, but then I don't over clock.

I guess what I am really saying - is to do this in with systematic approach. If you feel safe - take leaps of 5 volts but be sure to test each time and keep notes.
