What size is the SSD?
What size is the HDD?
How much total used space is on the current C partition?

Is anything currently on the SSD?

If not, this should go easy.
Macrium Reflect
Install it
Run it
Be sure you select ALL the partitions on your C drive.
Click the Go button

When done, power off
Disconnect the HDD
Power up, and verify the SSD is #1 in the BIOS boot order, and remove the HDD from the boot order
Once you have verified it actually boots properly from the SSD, you can wipe the HDD and use it how you wish.

This statement :

...is in direct opposition to this statement:
i want my pc to be exactly the same when windows is on the ssd

You can't have it be 'exactly the same' but different.
And you cannot move the OS and 'some' applications.

[strike]Right. But the reason I suggested that series of steps would be to avoid ending up with 2 partitions on the SSD. The original C & D.
Cloning the whole drive initially breaks that 1TB SSD into two partitions.[/strike]

EDIT: Disregard the above. Was thinking of something else completely.

Oops...disregard my above. I was thinking of a whole different thread.

Back to the original:
It's all or nothing, mostly. OP stated he wanted it 'exactly the same'.
But then later, "i dont want everything on my hdd to go onto my ssd"

One or the other.
