GTA V FPS Drop GT740M to 7FPS

I've read some threads but nothing helped the game get a big drop to 7 fps to couple of minutes my notebook specs
i5 4200U
6GB DDR3
Nvidia GT740M
Windows 8.1 pro

The problem is, it's a notebook. Are the setting already as low as possible?

Well, there is still one more thing you can turn down. go to file explorer, documents, rockstar games, gta v, right click on settings, then open it with notepad. change shadow quality to 0, this will remove all shadows from the game. It will look like you're playing gta sa, but the fps will be high.

Ok i'll try that but why from the first place cuz my gpu is good and i'm using 900MB of it and the ram , cpu is not fully used do you know why it's pain in the a55 to play gta v

GTA 5 has ridiculous pc requirements, and playing it on a notebook is kind of difficult.
