Updating ASUS Mobo Bios [Questions]

Mobo: Asus RAMPAGE 4 Formula

Does my USB Drive need to be FAT32 for the update or can I leave it as it is.

After downloading the Bios update from the ASUS website do I need to do anything to the file before attempting this update? I see people mentioning a renamer tool.

Are there any buttons or procedures I have to press/go through before attempting this bios update.

Thanks for the help.

You need to know what BIOS version your motherboard currently has.

If your BIOS version is 1404 or older, install the BIOS Converter first before you update the BIOS. The BIOS Converter is available in the BIOS Utilities.

You need to unzip the file first before doing any BIOS flashing.

There are several methods of flashing the BIOS. ASUS EZ Flash 2 is a popular method. USB BIOS Flashback is another method. You need to choose a method.
