UPDATE: It was a power supply problem. Got a replacement PSU and its working fine again.
I've had my system for a little over a year now and recently it started to restart itself whenever I play games. It seems like it happens when the GPU is under a lot of load and while trying to use furmark and I'm suspecting the GPU or PSU to be the problem.
I've tried to narrow down what's causing the problem by:
Re-seating CPU, GPU and Memory.
Updated/Re-installed GPU drivers.
Factory settings both on GPU and CPU.
Updated BIOS.
Watched temp.
Temps:
CPU- Idle: 25C, Gaming: 34-60C, Prime95 : 71C
GPU- Idle: 23C, Gaming: 40-70C
(From OCCT gpu test temps were at 40-45 at around 15 minutes)
I've also noticed that it tends to restart faster when I play at 1080p. Whenever I lower the resolution it rarely happens. Could this be a PSU issue? Any feedback would be useful.
Thank you and kind regards.
