Hello,

The other day I woke up to a random error saying 'Local Area Network does not have a valid IP configuration' I ran ipconfig /all in command prompt and my IP was being automatically set to something stupid, (not 192.) I went to my adapter settings and assigned it a static IP, and set the default gateway to the same one as on my router settings. And that stopped the error.

Now I'm getting this error. (The one in the title). I check my adapter lists and I don't appear to have lost any protocols? I tried restoring and it still didn't fix it which is odd. My other devices all get wired and wireless connection just fine.

I also get the error: 'The default gateway is not available' . However, I think the first error needs fixing first before I can sort the default gateway one which I have no clue on sorting.

I've tried most solutions on the internet, I've used CMD to reset winsock, used RegEdit to give the right permissions to some of the winsock keys, have restarted tons of times as well as unplugging and flushing my mobo's power, Renewing DNS fails (probs because I'm not even connected yet)

Can someone PLEASE help me out here? This has happened out of nowhere and part of my job is in online e-commerce, if I don't sort this I'm gonna be in serious trouble.

Thanks, if you need any more information then just ask,
